Talk to us
As co-founder and creator of London’s premier sweet treats brand, Crosstown, JP understood first hand the challenges faced by the hospitality industry. Believing that consumer habits would soon be shaped by online ordering, Crosstown was an early adopter of marketplaces, but JP wanted more control over his brand and more visibility over his customer data. He knew there had to be a better solution to get hospitality running online, and it turns out there was.
Slerp was founded in 2016 with a vision to help hospitality businesses sell more and manage better online. The aim was to help hospitality move away from old-fashioned and inefficient ways of working, using enterprise resource planning. Simply put, connecting systems so that everything (from POS and payments to deliveries and CRM) talks to each other seamlessly.
Slerp = Simple Language ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).

Our vision
We want to shape the future of hospitality with innovation and empower businesses to take control online, like they do offline. We’re built for operators, by operators.
Our culture
We believe that diverse and inclusive teams build better products and create a healthier and more dynamic culture.
We want to encourage applications from diverse candidates that feel as passionate about the future of hospitality as we do. We’re looking to recruit the best people with open minds, no matter their background. We don’t discriminate based on race, religion or belief, ethnic or national origin, disability, age, citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership status, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
Studies show that female and BIPOC candidates are less likely to apply to roles where they don’t fulfill every criteria. This should never be the case. If you’re passionate and driven about learning new things, have great experience (regardless of qualifications), we want to hear from you.
We are committed to creating a culture where aspiring individuals feel they can apply, interview and thrive.

We believe that our interview process should be inclusive and transparent. Most roles at Slerp will follow our standard interview process which we feel offers the right amount of technical and personal conversations. Usually, you can expect: Initial call – This will be an informal 30 minute video call with our talent team. In this call, we’ll be looking to gain a deeper understanding of your previous experiences and preferred ways of working. We’ll also ask some questions centered around the role, a number of which will be linked to values, helping us to establish whether we think Slerp would be somewhere you’d thrive. You’ll also have the chance to ask any initial questions you might have, and find out more about the next steps in the process. First interview – You’ll meet your prospective new manager in a 45 minute video call. This is the opportunity to have an in-depth conversation about the role, what success in the role looks like and how we would like the role to contribute to the company’s overall mission. This is a two-way conversation, so please come prepared to ask anything you are curious to learn more about. Skills assessment – Show off your job-related skills with a task and follow-up discussion. Depending on the role, we might ask you to prepare a short presentation or we set you a short task to complete from home which will form part of a follow-up discussion with members of the team. We are mindful of your time, if we say a short task – we mean it! Final interview – In this final part of the process, you will have the opportunity to meet some people from the wider business. This will be a two-way conversation designed to understand your alignment with our company values and ways of working.
We can generally handle hiring for most of our roles and don’t need further support. Where we do, we reach out to recruiters directly.
