Flipdish is an all-in-one takeaway platform built around its own POS. Slerp has built direct online ordering, delivery and catering since 2016. The differences that matter sit after the order: who delivers it, who fixes it when it goes wrong, and who keeps the per-order fee your customer pays. Deliveroo Express, Uber Direct and Just Eat Go built in, native catering, tiered loyalty, bundled CRM. And it works with your POS, not instead of it.
UK-built · 10 years in market · Founder-led 4.9★ Capterra · #1 UK online ordering 4.5★ Trustpilot
Slerp is built for direct ordering, delivery and catering. Custom, on-brand web and app ordering, courier delivery built in via Deliveroo Express, Uber Direct, Just Eat Go and Stuart, native tiered loyalty across web, app and in-store wallet pass, and a CRM included as part of your plan.
Delivery isn’t a feature we added, it’s the product we started with in 2016. Multi-courier routing with automatic fallback, live tracking, end-customer support included, and native catering with the couriers to fulfil it. It pairs with a dedicated POS, with Lightspeed as our deepest integration.
Flipdish is an all-in-one platform for restaurants and takeaways with its own POS at the core, plus kiosks, kitchen screens, web and app ordering, marketing tools and an AI phone agent. One supplier, one invoice, a low entry price, and at that job it’s a credible package.
Delivery runs through your own drivers or a single partner per setup, Uber Direct as an add-on, or partners like Nash and Stuart. When a delivery fails, their own help centre says you’re emailed automatically or contacted to discuss next steps. And the per-order fee your customer pays at checkout goes to Flipdish, not to you.
Built for the way UK restaurants trade today: delivery sorted, brand-first, customer-owned.
All figures below (94% partner satisfaction, ~1-in-3 orders via app, £60 average delivery order, ~60% of revenue from delivery, ~3× catering AOV) are from Slerp’s internal partner data, attributed by JP Then, Slerp Founder (May 2026).
Direct delivery integrations with Deliveroo Express, Uber Direct and Just Eat Go, all live now. Plus Stuart, Gophr, Addison Lee, Pedal Me, Pedivan and Genii for larger orders, catering or specialist needs. When the UK’s biggest fleets open their networks, they launch with Slerp first: Stuart in 2016, Uber Direct in 2023, Deliveroo Express in 2025 and Just Eat in 2026.
Live tracking, automatic dispatch, real-time fallback if your primary courier is over capacity. End-customer support included. On Flipdish, their own help centre says a failed delivery means you’re emailed automatically or contacted to discuss next steps. On Slerp, our live ops team catches it, reassigns the courier, and talks to your customer, so your team never knows it nearly went wrong. The average delivery order on Slerp is worth £60, more than twice a click & collect order, and delivery drives nearly 60% of every pound spent on the platform.
Flipdish’s storefronts are built to switch takeaway ordering on quickly. Slerp’s web ordering is built as a brand experience: a custom storefront and checkout on your own domain that converts at 7× the industry average, with Apple Pay and Google Pay built in.
The branded app comes with hundreds of live deployments, a customisable home screen you control, and about 1 in 3 orders on Slerp flow through native apps. It’s why design-led brands like Ottolenghi, Zia Lucia and Sourdough Sophia run their direct channel on Slerp. Put both checkouts side by side and the difference is visible in thirty seconds.
Catering has been native since launch: custom menus, order rules, kitchen outputs, and the couriers to fulfil it built in, including cargo bikes and vans for larger orders. Flipdish doesn’t offer a catering product.
On Slerp, catering pre-orders are worth nearly 3× a same-day order and drive over 1 in 3 of every pound on the platform. For bakeries, QSRs and restaurants, it’s often the highest-margin order type they’re not yet capturing. Plus tiered loyalty across web, app and wallet pass, and a bundled CRM for email, SMS and push.
UK-headquartered, founded in 2016 by an ex-operator (JP, who scaled Crosstown to 20+ sites before founding Slerp). Real-human support 7 days a week. 94% partner satisfaction over a 12 month rolling window, via live chat, WhatsApp and email, with median response times of 2 to 7 minutes.
The team is small enough that the founder still has weekly 1:1s with sales, onboarding, customer success and support, and reads every escalation. A deep, regularly-updated help centre. Continuous releases.
We don’t need to win every row. We need to be credible on the rows that matter for an operator building a direct channel.

As you can see, we don’t win every row. Flipdish’s all-in-one stack, POS, kiosks, kitchen screens and marketplace aggregation on one invoice, is a credible package at a low entry price, and for a single-site takeaway it may be the pragmatic choice. For brands where the direct channel is the growth lever, delivery, catering, a checkout that looks like your brand, and fees that stay with you, the architecture we’ve built since 2016 is the right shape.
A comparison page isn’t credible if every row says we win. So here’s where Flipdish is the better call.
POS, kiosks, kitchen screens, ordering, marketing and an AI phone agent from one company, on one invoice, at a low published entry price. For a single-site takeaway that wants everything switched on quickly and cheaply, that’s a credible package, and Slerp won’t be the cheapest sticker in that comparison.
Since acquiring its POS, Flipdish has made the till the core of its product. Slerp doesn’t build POS, kiosks or kitchen display systems, full stop. Our model is best-in-class instead: a dedicated POS partner for the counter, with Lightspeed as our deepest integration, and Slerp running the direct channel alongside it.
Brands serious about direct ordering for delivery, click & collect and catering. Bakeries, restaurants and QSRs, from independents to multi-site operators, who want web, app, loyalty, courier integrations and CRM bundled, working alongside a dedicated POS rather than replacing it, with a customer experience that looks and feels like their brand. If that’s you, the rest of this page is the argument for why we’re worth a conversation. If it isn’t, we’ll happily say so on the call.

We’re consultative. We’d rather understand your operation properly than rush you through a demo. Book a walkthrough and we’ll talk through your setup, your delivery requirements, your POS, your customers, and whether Slerp is the right fit. No script. No pressure. If we’re not the right fit for you, we’ll say so.
