What most people call Uber Eats Restaurant Hub is officially Uber Eats Manager: the dashboard where restaurant partners manage menus, payments, sales data and customer insights. Live orders run through a separate tablet app, Uber Eats Orders. If you’re here to log in, the link is just below. If you’re here because the commission bill keeps growing, skip to the second half.
How to log in to Uber Eats Manager
- Go to merchants.ubereats.com/manager.
- Sign in with your Uber Eats Manager email or phone number and password.
- Or sign in with your Uber Eats Orders details, then enter your Orders PIN.
Uber Eats Manager is run by Uber, not Slerp, so we can’t reset or unlock Uber accounts. For that, go to Uber directly.
Can’t log in? Common fixes
- Manager or Orders? They’re different logins. If one fails, try the other option on the sign-in screen.
- Wrong account. For groups, the Manager login often sits under a head office email rather than the site’s own.
- Still stuck. In the Uber Eats Orders app, tap Account at the bottom of the screen to get help or call support, or search the Uber merchant help centre.
What you can do in Uber Eats Manager
- Menus: dishes, prices, photos and availability.
- Payments: payouts and statements.
- Performance: sales, orders and store status.
- Customers: ratings and customer insights.
Uber Eats Manager handles the admin well. What it can’t change is the deal underneath it.
The drawbacks of using Uber Eats Hub
While the Uber Eats Hub simplifies managing orders on Uber Eats, here are some drawbacks restaurant owners should consider:
High Commission Fees
Uber Eats charges commission fees of up to 30% per order, which can drastically reduce your profit margins. The more orders you process, the more significant the impact on your bottom line.
Limited Branding Opportunities
With Uber Eats Hub, your restaurant is showcased within Uber Eats’ app interface. This means you’re unable to deliver a fully branded experience to your customers, limiting your ability to differentiate your restaurant.
No Direct Access to Customer Data
The Uber Eats Hub doesn’t provide direct access to customer data such as emails or purchase history. This restricts your ability to engage customers through targeted marketing campaigns or build loyalty programs.
Dependency on Uber Eats’ Platform
Using Uber Eats Hub means relying entirely on Uber Eats for your online presence. If Uber Eats changes its policies, fees, or operational terms, your business could be affected with little recourse.
Why Slerp offers a better alternative to Uber Eats Hub
While the Uber Eats Restaurant Hub helps manage orders on Uber Eats, Slerp provides a direct online ordering solution that allows restaurants to own their customer relationships, retain more profits, and fully customise their online presence.
Here’s how Slerp compares to Uber Eats Hub:
| Feature | Uber Eats Hub | Slerp |
|---|---|---|
| Commissions | Up to 30% per order | Low or no commission |
| Customer Data | Not accessible | Full access to customer data |
| Branding | Limited to Uber’s app | Fully customisable storefront |
| Promotions | Restricted | Unlimited flexibility |
| Platform Dependency | Full reliance on Uber Eats | Independent DTC platform |
Retain more of your profits
With Slerp, you keep a higher percentage of your revenue. Instead of paying commissions on every order, you can reinvest your profits into your restaurant, whether it’s marketing, hiring, or upgrading equipment.
Build customer Loyalty
Slerp provides direct access to customer data, including order history and preferences. This allows you to run personalised promotions, build loyalty programs, and target your customers with tailored marketing efforts.
Create a fully branded experience
With Slerp, you’re not limited by Uber Eats’ interface. You can design a branded online storefront that reflects your restaurant’s identity, from colours and logos to the overall customer journey.
Gain complete control
Unlike Uber Eats Hub, Slerp gives you full control over your pricing, menu, and offers. This flexibility allows you to adjust quickly to market trends, test new menu items, or run targeted promotions without restrictions.
Own your online channel
Slerp enables you to establish a direct-to-consumer delivery channel, reducing your dependence on third-party platforms. This independence ensures that your business is not affected by sudden changes in policies or commission structures from platforms like Uber Eats.
Ready to make the switch to Slerp?
While Uber Eats Hub offers helpful tools, it comes with high costs and limited control over your customer experience. Slerp empowers restaurant owners to build their own online ordering platform, enabling greater profitability, control, and branding.
