What’s new in Slerp

Lightspeed Loyalty is live, capacity rules now go all the way down to a single item, and you can run private, link-only stores inside your existing space.

Now live

Recent releases

Three new launches, all live for partners today.

Loyalty

Lightspeed Loyalty is liveLive

If you run Lightspeed at your tills, your Slerp loyalty programme now works inside the POS. Once your Slerp space and stores are connected to Lightspeed in Controls, your team can scan a customer’s QR code or enter their email to award points and redeem rewards.

That means customers earn and spend the same way online and in store, with one source of truth for points and rewards. Nothing separate to reconcile, every in-store order counts towards loyalty, and it’s included at no extra cost.

One setup tip: give each loyalty reward a SKU in Controls so it can be matched at the till. You’ll find the new SKU field on each reward.

One loyalty programme everywhere your customers buy: online, in the app and at the counter.

More menu and timing controlLive

Two more enhancements are now live: separate same-day and pre-order menus per store (use the same menu for both if you prefer), and configurable order buffering, so pre-orders no longer print at the till the moment they land. You can set the buffer for both same-day and pre-orders, with auto-accept available for a smoother experience. ASAP orders always send straight away.

Menu management

Smarter capacity rules, down to a single itemLive

Capacity control now goes well beyond a simple orders-per-slot limit. Cap how much you sell per timeslot, right down to one item. Set limits by category, product, modifier group or individual modifier, so you can hold the kitchen to ten pizzas a slot while leaving drinks wide open.

Once a slot is full, only the capped items show as sold out and everything else keeps selling. You’ll find it in Controls under your location settings, by fulfilment and order type.

Protect your kitchen at the busiest times, without holding back the items you can always make.
Store management

Private, link-only storesLive

You can now run a private store that stays off your main listings and opens by direct link only, all inside your existing space. Use it for a wholesale store, where orders still flow into Composer for unified production and packing slips, or for a venue-specific QR store, say a local pub.

Search engine indexing is controllable per store too, so you decide exactly what stays public and what stays private.

A flexible way to open new ordering channels without cluttering your main shopfront.
